Facilities we map

Any space where temperature-sensitive product is stored can be mapped:

  • Warehouses & distribution centres
  • Cool rooms
  • Cold stores & freezer rooms
  • Goods storage areas
  • Food storage facilities
  • Incubation & conditioning rooms

From booking to report, without the runaround

  1. Request a quote

Tell us what equipment you have, its range and location. We'll confirm scope, method and price.

  2. We calibrate — in-lab or on-site

Our technician calibrates your equipment against reference standards, observing how it's used so the calibration matches real conditions.

  3. Receive your report

Your calibration report follows promptly once the work is complete, with results clearly stated.

  4. EasyCAL keeps track

EasyCAL subscribers have their equipment record, report history and next due date stored in the portal — we'll remind you before recalibration is due.

Common questions

How does temperature mapping work?

Calibrated data loggers are positioned throughout the space in a documented three-dimensional grid, then left to record over an agreed period covering normal operations. We analyse the data and report the temperature distribution, including any hot or cold spots and excursions.

Why is mapping required?

Quality frameworks for pharmaceutical, medical and food storage — such as GMP and HACCP-based systems — expect evidence that the whole storage space, not just the sensor location, holds product within its specified range. Mapping provides that evidence.

How long does a mapping study take?

Logger placement typically takes a few hours; the recording period is commonly several days to capture door openings, loading cycles and day-night variation. We'll recommend a duration based on your facility and requirements.

Should mapping be repeated?

Mapping is typically repeated after significant changes — new racking, altered airflow, HVAC changes — and many quality systems expect periodic re-mapping, often including seasonal extremes.
