FAQ
Common questions
What's the difference between a traceable and a NATA-endorsed calibration?
A traceable calibration uses reference standards with an unbroken chain of calibrations back to national standards, documented on the report. A NATA-endorsed report is additionally issued under our NATA accreditation for that measurement class. Our pressure calibrations are traceable; if your application specifically requires NATA endorsement for pressure, talk to us and we'll help you find the right pathway.
How often should pressure gauges be calibrated?
Every 12 months is typical, with more frequent checks for gauges in safety-critical service or harsh conditions. Your quality system or the applicable standard may set the interval.
Can you calibrate pressure instruments on-site?
Yes. We regularly calibrate pressure instrumentation at client sites across Queensland, minimising downtime for your process.
What do we receive after the calibration?
A traceable calibration report issued promptly after the work is completed, plus — for EasyCAL subscribers — a record in the portal alongside your equipment's full calibration history.
